Due to her parents, who are English and German, Isabel Hagedorn has grown up bilingually and is thus an expert for translation work. In addition, she is fluent in both spoken and written Spanish. She founded british.korrekt in 2015.
After having gained an M.A. in English, Spanish and Information Science from the University of Regensburg (which also included a semester in Granada, Spain), she worked as a translator, editor and teacher. In 2008 she joined the consulting company McKinsey & Company, where she has been working as a copy editor ever since. She works on presentations, text and print documents in German and English. In addition, she carried out translations as a freelancer.
